3 Weeks In England
well, it is about this time that i would usually be packing up to return to vancouver. not so this time...and funily enough it is right now that things are really starting to take shape with regards to my future plans...hmmm...funny how God works isnt it. he is in all of this. i know he is right beside me every step of the way and even carrying me some days!
so on saturday my mum and i went to visit the university i am wanting to go to. it is amazing. it is a great campus, full of incredible resources for everything.its a good thing we went because i found out that the diploma course that i want to do is in april and its the last one in 2007! so, if i get in it looks like i will be starting in april and not september like i thought. it was overwhelming at first but it feels so right!
dont worry...it gets better...
as most of you probably know i wanted a job that would give me some experience for my nursing.
well, i was at church on sunday and gave a little talk about what i was up to in the next few months. all i said was, im looking for work and then wanting to do nursing next year...
then we had a praise report time and a guy got up that i had never met before and shared what he had to say and part of it was that he was the manager of a care home about 10 minuites walk from my house...
he ended by saying "by the way, rachel, if you want a job come and talk to me!!"
i was like "WHAT???!!!"
so i have a job as a care assistant for elderly people! i start on september 4th!
way to go God!!! woo hoo!!

hey..i haven't been to your page before...wow, i got a little emotional hearing about/from you for the first time in a while. i'll be back...often. i need to know how you are. and one of these days, i'll set up one of these blog thingys. anyways, you sound well, and God is so awesome!
